ATLANTA -- New information emerged Monday about last week's crash that killed Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo.
The crash happened early last Wednesday morning on Interstate 285 southbound at the Cascade Road exit.
Emergency communications between Atlanta Police and Fulton County Police dispatchers were released Monday.

APD officers were first on the scene of the fiery crash where Shawty Lo lost control of his Audi, hit two trees and flipped over. In the recording, Atlanta officers indicated they needed an ambulance and fire truck. The officer said the vehicle was engulfed in flames, making it difficult to determine if anyone was inside the car.
"Is the person still inside?" asked one dispatcher.
"No, the person was ejected. We've got two females outside the vehicle with some injuries. We can't advise on what the injuries are; the vehicle is still burning," replied the second dispatcher. "We have APD units on scene trying to see if there's anybody else in it, but they can't hardly get to it."
In a 911 audio released Wednesday, a caller said they saw the car on fire, and that police were on the scene.
"The car is on fire, and the lights are still on the vehicle," the caller said. "I hope nobody is still in it."
First responders later discover there is a male who is not breathing in the car.
Both young women were treated and released from local hospitals.
