AAA offers free roadside assistance to all healthcare workers in the metro area

Here's what the offer includes.

ATLANTA — The Auto Club Group is stepping up to give those who are on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic some relief. The Auto Club Group (AAA) announced they are offering free roadside assistance to all healthcare providers in select metro cities.

“These frontline workers are spending tireless hours protecting us while at work, and we want to protect them on their journey there and back,” said Montrae Waiters, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group.

The free offer includes towing, tire changes, fuel delivery, battery service, jumpstarts, and lockout service. The offer lasts through the month of April.

Healthcare workers can call 833-222-3284 to learn if their city is eligible for the promotion and cash in on the services at any time (24/7).

AAA has also implemented COVID-19 safety precautions to protect their employees and the person needing service.

The precautions include:

  • Service technicians will not shake hands and will abide by current social distancing guidelines.
  • Passengers are not allowed to ride in service vehicles.
  • Drivers are cleaning and disinfecting service vehicles and equipment after every service call.
