DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — An ambulance flipped over on its side after being involved in a crash near I-85 in DeKalb County on Saturday, police said.
An AMR ambulance was responding to a call when a truck failed to yield to the ambulance and collided into the side of the ambulance, causing it to overturn at Clairmont Road near the I-85 northbound ramp, police said. No one was in the back of the ambulance during the crash, according to DeKalb Police.
The two medical first responders and the driver of the truck were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Police said the driver of the truck was determined to be at fault, and was arrested for driving without a license and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
