Another weak earthquake was recorded Sunday night on the south side of Lake Lanier.
The 2.3 magnitude quake occurred at 8:37 p.m. around 2.5 miles away from Buford. Some reports have come in from people saying they felt it in nearby communities.
The USGS monitors earthquakes around the world and initial reports say it had a level three intensity, which is also considered weak.
This quake comes less than a week after two quakes occurred within hours of each other Thursday night at 11:15 p.m. and Friday morning at 1:30 a.m.
This quake was considered weaker than the previous two and also likely produced no damage.
