Police have made an arrest in a brawl on MARTA that was caught by passengers on video.
The video was posted to a website called FlyHeight.com and it shows two transgender women exchanging words with a group of men before the fight started.
Janelle Crosby says the men were instigating. She says they kept taking pictures of her and her friend and they were afraid for their safety and were defending themselves.
The video triggered an investigation by MARTA. Spokesman Lyle Harris released this statement:
"MARTA will not tolerate this type of behavior on our transit system. Our police department has launched an investigation to identify those who were involved and we ask anyone with information about this incident to contact us at 404 848-4911. Customers who may witness suspicious or unlawful activity are asked to immediately contact the MARTA Police Department. They can report it using the free, "See & Say" app on their smartphones."
Luther Thomas, 34, was arrested on Thursday. He's charged with disorderly conduct.
