This is a developing story.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — An aspiring social media star reported missing more than a week ago in Clayton County was found dead in Jonesboro on Tuesday, police said.

Clayton County Police said that officers responded shortly after 1 p.m. to the intersection of Brown Road and Poston Road in Jonesboro after they said a body was found. The intersection is near James H. Brown Elementary School.

Law enforcement from several agencies responded after friends searching for Jiare Schneider, a 31-year-old man reported missing on Nov. 15, found a vehicle in the woods near the intersection. Police responded and confirmed that Schneider's body was found inside the vehicle.

The investigation shows that the vehicle traveled across Brown Road through overgrowth and into a tree at the back of the property. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of Clayton County Police.
