ATLANTA – Where Gilmore Girls lead, fans will definitely follow. Hot off the news about the revival for the hit TV show coming to Netflix, crowds are hitting the town for a taste of the famous coffee served at Luke’s Diner.
October 5 marks the first day that the show aired in 2000, and the people behind the show are giving fans an experience like never before in a series of pop-up stores around the country.
Each temporary Luke's will include décor from the show, such as Luke's signs, Luke's aprons, Luke's backwards caps and Luke's coffee cups covered in Gilmore Girls quotes.
Crowds packed at Land of a Thousand Hills in Atlanta as it turned into a pop-up of Luke’s Diner Wednesday morning. Between 7 a.m. to noon, they all received free coffee . They also received a custom Gilmore Girls coffee sleeve and a "fun surprise" under the sleeve.

Land of a Thousand Hills is at Atlantic Station parking garage.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in The Life is set to premiere on November 25 exclusively on Netflix.
The show includes four 90-minute chapters, each spanning one of the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
