ATLANTA — Atlanta's oldest fair is coming back into town this spring for five full weeks!
The annual Atlanta Fair features rides, fried food, carnival games and entertainment. It will run from Friday, March 1, until Sunday, April 7, at 688 Central Avenue SW. This is across from Georgia State University's Center Parc Stadium.
When is the Atlanta Fair open?
- Monday- Thursday: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Friday: 5 p.m. -11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.
How much does it cost to get into the Atlanta Fair?
Note: Ticket prices vary by day of the week.
- $3 for guests under 42" tall
- $5 for adults and children under 42" (Monday-Thursday)
- $8 for anyone over 42" (Friday-Sunday)
How much do rides cost?
- Individual tickets: $1.25
- Book of 25 tickets: $25
- Unlimited ride armbands: $30 (only valid on the day they are purchased)
Clear bag policy
While the fair is full of fun and games, safety is a top priority. According to Atlanta Fair policies, only clear bags will be allowed.
The new policy is as follows:
- Clear plastic purses, tote bags, etc., that are no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″
- 1-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
- Small clutch purses up to 4.5″ x 6.5″
Diaper bags and medically necessary items are allowed after inspection and tagging.
Know before you go
An adult or parent must accompany individuals under the age of 17. Gates will close one hour before the fair closes each day.
