ATLANTA — UPDATE: Atlanta Police issued an update Friday afternoon saying the parents were located.
"At this time, the investigation is active and ongoing, and no further information is available for release," APD said.

The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public's help to find the family of a child who was found walking alone in the middle of the street on Halloween night.
According to APD, the child is believed to be 3 or 4 years old and was found by a couple driving near Mt. Gilead Rd. SW and Briar Glen Ln. SW in southwest Atlanta a little before 11 p.m.
A release from the department described the boy as non-verbal. An abandoned child BOLO put out by APD said he weighs about 20-30 pounds and is about 3 feet tall.
