COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags White Water will open three new attractions in 2015.

The Cobb County theme parks announced Thursday that Six Flags Over Georgia will add two rides to its Gotham City section.

One ride -- THE JOKER Chaos Coaster -- includes a seven-story ascent into a series of loops. Riders travel forward and backward through the loops and experience a suspended upside-down roll 72 feet in the air.

Gotham City will also add Harley Quinn Spinsanity, a classic spin ride with a Batman-inspired twist. Both attractions will debut in late spring.

Six Flags White Water will soon begin construction on its tallest-ever water slide. Dive Bomber will be 10 stories tall, standing more than 100 feet above the park's tree line.

Dive Bomber features a 90-degree drop, with riders plunging through a trap door and traveling down at speeds of more than 40 miles per hour.

Theme park enthusiasts can follow the rides' construction at Six Flags' and White Water's Facebook pages.

Earlier this year, Six Flags Over Georgia debuted a new water park, Hurricane Harbor, within the Austell park.
