ATLANTA -- An Atlanta icon is suing the city over his recent arrest.
About a year ago, "Baton Bob" Jamerson was arrested on Peachtree Street outside of Colony Square. According to the police reports, Baton Bob refused to leave the area and then kicked officers when they tried to grab his hand.
Jamerson told us police should never have been called in the first place, and that those reports simply aren't true. On Monday, he confirmed that he's filed a lawsuit accusing police of violating his rights.
