ATLANTA — If you are shopping around for your next home or looking for a decent neighborhood in Atlanta, you are in luck!
A 2024 Niche report updated the list of the best city neighborhoods to live in across the country, and Atlanta was placed twice in the top 30! Atlantic Station and Midtown made the list.
Atlantic Station placed No. 11 on the list and is also the No. 1 best neighborhood to live in Atlanta. According to Niche, Atlantic Station has a population of a little over 2,000 residents and is home to many restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping centers, which draw people in.
The Atlanta neighborhood beat out some neighborhoods in California and Texas.
Midtown was Atlanta's second runner-up for best neighborhoods in the country. It placed overall No. 23. In a separate report, the area placed No. 2 for the best neighborhoods to live in Atlanta.
Niche reported Midtown's population is well above Atlantic Station, with over 27,000 residents.
The ranking and review site also noted that Midtown is a neighborhood where young professionals normally gather, like Atlantic Station.
Both Atlanta neighborhoods went up against many other populous neighborhoods but lost to a neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia.
Niche is known for using a grading system that compiles and compares national data averages, leading to its ranking system.
