Here are the best places to work in Georgia, according to Forbes | LIST

​Forbes surveyed 160,000 employees who work for companies with at least 500 people across the country in every state.

GEORGIA, USA — Looking for a job in Georgia? A research firm and Forbes compiled a list together surveying the best employers in each state.

Forbes stated in its report that only 35% of workers plan to look for a new job in the second half of the year. They surveyed 160,000 employees who work for companies with at least 500 people.

The report added that participants of the survey were asked how likely they would recommend their employer on a rating scale.

Here are the top 5 employers that are the best to work for in the state of Georgia:

  1. Delta Air Lines 
  2. Costco Wholesale 
  3. Apple
  4. Google 
  5. Microsoft

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines, founded in 1924, made the top of the list. This year, according to a WalletHub study, Delta Air Lines was ranked as the best airline.

Other Georgia-based companies made the list, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, which ranked No. 8, and Southern Company, Georgia Power's parent company, which ranked No. 10 on the list.

Most other companies that made the list were school systems and healthcare systems.
