SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Brian Lewis’ longtime Atlanta restaurant Bocado will soon expand to Sandy Springs with a location in Powers Ferry Village.

The restaurant is scheduled to open next month, according to a news release. Featuring small plates; wood-fired pizzas; and entrees such as steaks, seafood and pasta, the newest version of Bocado will continue the concept found at previous locations in metro Atlanta and Charlotte that have since closed.

“We will continue to source our ingredients meticulously, using flour from a small Italian farm; fresh mozzarella; and bright, dense tomatoes grown in Southern Italy’s Campania region near the coast,” Lewis said in a prepared statement.

The menu will include small plates such as grilled artichokes with lemon-garlic remoulade and beef carpaccio with white truffle oil, local arugula, watermelon radish, capers and shaved parmesan. Pizzas will be made with 72-hour, naturally leavened sourdough.
