ATLANTA — According to the Atlanta Department of Transportation on Thursday, a section of Boulevard SE from Edgewood Avenue to Decatur Street will be closed this weekend.
The stretch of road will be closed from 9 a.m. on Friday to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials noted, though, that the west sidewalk will remain open.
If you find yourself traveling in this direction over the weekend, take these detours instead:
Traveling northbound on Boulevard SE on the south side of the railroad tracks
Continue straight on Boulevard SE (south) to Memorial Drive SE
Turn right onto Memorial Drive SE to Grant Street SE
Turn right onto Grant Street SE towards Decatur Street
Turn right onto Decatur Street towards Jackson Street SE
Turn left on Jackson Street SE to Edgewood Ave SE
Turn right on Edgewood Ave SE back to Boulevard SE
End Detour
Traveling southbound on Boulevard SE approaching Edgewood Ave SE
Continue straight on Boulevard SE to Edgewood Ave SE
Turn right onto Edgewood Ave SE to Jackson Street SE
Turn left onto Jackson Street SE to Decatur Street
Turn right on Decatur Street towards Grant Street SE
Turn left onto Grant St SE to Memorial Drive SE
Turn left onto Memorial Drive SE back to Boulevard SE
