Brookhaven man charged with human trafficking

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. -- A 51-year-old Brookhaven man faces several charges related to sexually exploiting a juvenile.

Brookhaven Police charged James Clay Webb with human trafficking, interference with child custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

Webb was arrested when detectives and GBI agents executed a search warrant on a home in the 3500 block of Mill Creek Road. Police obtained the warrant after receiving a suspected sexual exploitation complaint from Bartow County DFCS and conducting a forensic interview with the juvenile victim.

Electronic devices were seized during the search warrant, according to police.

The GBI is still investigating the complaint and will release more information to Brookhaven Police at a later date.
