ATLANTA — What started off as police responding to a call about shots fired and a residential burglary turned into an investigation into a deadly shooting Tuesday afternoon.
Atlanta Police said they responded to Logan Street shortly after 3:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who appeared to have been shot and was dead at the scene. Police said they located a female at the scene who may have been the shooter.
In its preliminary investigation so far, APD did not mention any charges regarding the incident. The case is still in its early stages.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of what led up to the shooting.
