ATLANTA -- Someone in Georgia may be a millionaire without even realizing it. Georgia Lottery officials said a Mega Millions ticket worth $7.5 million remains unclaimed nearly three months after the drawing.
The lucky ticket was sold at the Kroger located at 8876 Dallas Acworth Highway in Dallas, Ga. It's one of two winning tickets from a $15 million Mega Million jackpot on July 22. The other winning ticket was sold in Virginia, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers were: 8, 24, 25, 26, 30 with a Mega Ball of 7.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim Mega Millions prizes in Georgia.
It's been a lucky year for Georgia lottery players. Last month, a Brookhaven couple won $246 million in a Powerball drawing.
