CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Cherokee County firefighters are working to extinguish a barn fire Thursday afternoon.
Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services posted on social media that the blaze broke out at a barn along Bells Ferry Road near Faye Drive. Bells Ferry Road is currently closed, and long traffic delays are anticipated.
The sheriff's office also helps with directing traffic.
At this time, officials have not said if anyone was hurt or if any animals were in the barn at the time of the fire.
