ATLANTA — Buckle up, Bulldogs! ESPN's College Gameday is coming to Athens next weekend for UGA's matchup against the Tennessee Volunteers.
According to the university, the Bulldogs and Volunteers will kick off on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. -- marking Georgia's first home game since Oct. 12.
Before the matchup, College GameDay will be live from Myers Quad from 9 a.m. until noon, while SEC Nation will be at the Special Collections Library from 10 a.m. until noon.
This is the seventh time that GameDay and SEC Nation are visiting the same game site in the regular season and the first time this year, according to a release. The Bulldogs were featured in three of those games: Florida vs Georgia in 2018, Kentucky at Georgia in 2021 and Tennessee at Georgia in 2022.
Rece Davis hosts College GameDay with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban at the desk, along with college football insider Pete Thame. There are also reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims and college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin.
This will be College GameDay's tenth all-time visit to Athens, according to a release. This will also be the Bulldog's 38th appearance on the show -- the sixth most of any team.
Laura Rutledge Hosts SEC Nation and is joined by Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Tim Tebow for a weekly breakdown of the SEC football action to come.
In addition, Marty & McGee will be live that Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., as Marty Smith and Ryan McGee meet at the intersection of southern lifestyle and college football to bring viewers the latest headlines across the SEC.
The Special Collections Library will also be home to The Paul Finebaum Show with #FinebaumFriday live from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., a release wrote.
Latest on the Bulldogs
It's been a rough go of it this season for Georgia quarterback Carson Beck. He once again struggled mightily on Saturday as No. 3 Georgia was dominated by No. 16 Ole Miss on the road 28-10.
Jaxson Dart threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Antwane Wells Jr. in the third quarter.
Caden Davis kicked five field goals as Mississippi (8-2, 4-2 SEC, No. 16 CFP) earned its third consecutive win. Ulysses Bentley had a 9-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
A rain-soaked Ole Miss student section stormed the field with 16 seconds left, leading to a delay. The scene was repeated after Dart’s kneel-down closed it out.
Georgia (7-2, 5-2, No. 3 CFP) scored on a 2-yard run by Nate Frazier early in the first quarter. But Mississippi quickly grabbed control from there.
Georgia still has a 72% chance to make the playoffs, according to ESPN's Playoff Predictor. However, they likely must win the remaining three games of the season (vs. No. 7 Tennessee, vs. UMass, vs. Georgia Tech).
