COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Several restaurants in College Park are closed after a grease fire sparked on Thursday morning.

The City of College Park Government posted on social media that Main Street is back open, but Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar, Johnny's Chicken and Waffles and Milk & Honey are still closed.

Virgil's said the fire started at its restaurant around 10 a.m., and the College Park Fire Department has determined it to be "a total loss."

"Our College Park location is closed for the foreseeable future," Virgil's wrote on social media. "Thankfully, nobody was hurt and everyone is safe. Please visit our West Midtown and Conyers location in the meantime."

It's unclear at this time when the Johnny's Chicken and Waffles and Milk & Honey will reopen.
