CONYERS, Ga. — A person who barricaded themselves at a Conyers hotel Tuesday evening has been taken into custody, according to officers.

Conyers Police tweeted a photo and said they were called to InTown Suites Extended Stay at 1125 Northlake Drive, which is near an LA Fitness, to investigate. Police issued an alert to the community as officers responded to the scene.

Hours later, they said the person had been taken into custody without incident.

Last week, Conyers Police responded to another incident at the hotel, where a 33-year-old was found shot to death inside a truck. Two teens were arrested in connection to that shooting, the police department previously said.
