FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A 23-year-old motorcyclist is now dead after a deadly crash on Cumming Thursday afternoon, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office

Peyton Kirby, 23, was traveling south on his motorcycle on Bethelview Road, approaching the intersection of Aaron Sosebee Road/Olde Town Lane as an SUV driver was traveling north on Aaron Sosebee Road.

Deputies said that's when the SUV driver failed to stop at the stop sign and went through the intersection, crashing into the motorcycle and killing Kirby on impact.

Authorities added failure to yield was likely the main cause of the crash as they continue their investigation.
