DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Two people are dead after a fire at a DeKalb County home on Monday morning, according to officials.
DeKalb Fire said a neighbor called about a fire at a home on Cohassett Lane just before 1:30 a.m. On arrival, there was heavy fire. The building was also partially collapsed.
Officials said they initiated a search after the fire was put out and didn't find anything. They came back to search again after daybreak.
There are two people confirmed dead -- a man and a woman, officials said. Their identities have not been released yet. No other people were in the home.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
