HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — An inmate died at the jail in Henry County after being found unresponsive in his cell, according to the sheriff's office.
Not much information was released, but deputies said the man, once found, was taken for medical care. He was later pronounced dead by the county coroner after being rendered medical aid, the sheriff's office said.
An investigation is underway into the incident by the sheriff's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. A cause of death is expected to be released once the family is notified of the incident.
