ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are now investigating a Fourth of July death as a homicide after a woman was found stabbed to death in the city's Mozley Park neighborhood.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as 63-year-old Annette Santos. They added that she was stabbed to death in the chest.
It happened just before noon on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW when officers were called for an unresponsive person. That's when officers found Santos dead, police said.
Investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No other information has been released at this time.
