ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after a person was found dead near Morningside Nature Preserve on Friday afternoon.
Police responded to the 900 block of Wildwood Road NE for an unresponsive personal call. When they arrived, they found a person dead. The address appears to be in a neighborhood across the street from one end of the nature preserve.
Although homicide investigators are on the scene, it's currently unclear how the person died.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The person's identity has not yet been released.
No other details were released.
