DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities have indicted two people in the December shooting of two DeKalb County police officers.
Officers Devon Perry and Tony Luong were shot the morning of Dec. 12 as they responded to a home invasion call at the Colony Ridge apartment complex. Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Ivy Shumake and Eddie Ball are facing 63 charges related to the Dec. 12 shooting, including aggravated assault on a peace officer, aggravated battery, and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
Ball was injured as officers returned fire.
