DECATUR, GA -- The father of a little girl who died after being left inside a hot car is demanding justice.
Police say 1-year-old Skylar Fowler was left alone for six hours while her mother got her hair done.
"I guess every parent would call their kid perfect, for me, she was the perfect daughter. I couldn't have asked for anything more," said Louis Williams. "Always smiling, always laughing."
He now clings to those memories of his only child, his daughter Skylar, whose life only lasted one year.
"The worst is already done," he said. "Now I just, I hope to see justice."

Williams was deployed overseas serving in the Air Force Reserve when he learned about his daughter's death. He says it took a while before he got the real story about what happened.
Last June, police say the girl's mother, 25-year-old Dijanelle Fowler left Skylar inside the car with the engine running and the AC on.
She then went inside Mahogany's Salon in the Northlake Festival Shopping Center for about six hours to get her hair done.

But the car cut off, and officers say Fowler likely hid the child, while someone helped restart her car.
They say she then went an Emory medical facility and called 911, saying she was having a seizure. Skylar was found dead in the back seat.

"They need to make an example. Something like this can't happen, for a mother to leave her child in the car for six hours while she gets her hair done...she's told multiple lies," said Williams "I'd like for this case to make a statement so parents out there who are going through tough times don't neglect their children."
The DeKalb County District Attorney's Office says Dijanelle Fowler is expected enter a guilty plea in court Wednesday morning.
