ATLANTA — A car wrecked into a power pole on a busy Atlanta road early Wednesday, closing the road partially and resulting in injuries according to police.

It happened at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Oakdale Road, near the Edgewood-Candler Park MARTA Station.

Videos posted to social media showed the car had taken out the power pole, bringing down the power lines and traffic lights at the intersection. Police told 11Alive the crash involved injuries, but there were not immediate details available about how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries.
