DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man is dead after being shot in the chest, according to DeKalb County Police Department on Saturday morning.
It happened near Kings Mountain Way. Officers said around 2:35 a.m., officers were called in reference to a person being shot. When they arrived, a 37-year-old man was found shot in the chest.
Emergency Medical Services drove him to a hospital, where police said he later died. Police added that the incident seemed domestic, adding the shooter stayed at the home and spoke with detectives.
Officers said detectives are investigating the area, and "no charges are expected to be filed in this incident."
