DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- A Thursday afternoon police chase began when the suspect's vehicle intentionally rammed a DeKalb County patrol car.
The brief chase began around 4:30 pm when DeKalb police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the Spring Valley Apartments on Misty Waters Drive.
"Once officers moved toward the vehicle, the driver intentionally rammed a unit," said a DeKalb police spokesperson. "After a brief pursuit to Memorial Drive, the officers stopped following as it got into Atlanta’s jurisdiction."
Georgia State Patrol also got involved in the chase, which ended at 343 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, according to Atlanta police.
No DeKalb officers were injured.
