PALMETTO, Ga. — Police are still looking for clues nearly a month later to figure out who killed a 31-year-old Palmetto, Georgia man.
Dorian Lydell Hankins was shot and killed inside his Chestnut Oak Drive home Monday, March 9.
Police said Hankins was in his living room when bullets came through his home between 10:30 and 11 p.m. that night, hitting and killing him. Another person was home at the time, but they were not hurt, authorities said.
Palmetto Police Chief Bryan Hergesell told 11Alive back then that they were able to rule out home invasion as a possible motive, but he said the shooting did appear to be targeting that home.
"We believe the people were out of the house, in the front yard," Hergesell said previously.

The Palmetto Police Department called in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to help work the case, but weeks later, investigators haven't made much progress with the case.
They're now asking for anyone with information on the case to come forward. Information on this case or this suspect can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.StopCrimeATL.com.
