ATLANTA — A Douglasville Police officer is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to Georgia State Patrol.
This happened on State Road 61 near State Road 166. GSP said the officer was traveling south on the highway in a marked patrol vehicle.
Authorities said the vehicle was navigating a curve when it went off the west side of the road, striking a power pole.
GSP said the officer was transported to Grady Hospital and is in critical condition.
