ATLANTA -- One person died in a shooting at Blue Ivory in Downtown Atlanta Wednesday morning.
Shots rang out at around 4 a.m. inside the 24-hour restaurant and lounge in the 500 block of Whitehall Street. Police said 25-year-old Clarence Carter of Fairburn was struck and killed.
Witnesses told 11Alive's Kaitlyn Ross an argument over a drink led to the shooting. They described the scene inside the restaurant as "chaos."
No one has been arrested. Atlanta Police believe the suspect may have been able to escape out the building's back door. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage taken inside the restaurant.
