ATLANTA – The health of former Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Beverly Hall has taken a turn for the worse.
Dr. Hall is battling Stage 4 breast cancer and is having weekly chemotherapy treatments. 11Alive has learned that she is bedridden.
Hall is in the middle of a court battle over the CRCT cheating scandal.
Sources told 11Alive Wednesday night that Hall's lawyers sent a letter to the judge saying she is too ill to attend court on Friday.
The judge already pushed the trial date back because of her health. It's now set for August 11.
