COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are on the hunt for a luxury vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that left a boy critically injured.
According to the Cobb County Police Department, a boy was trying to cross the street at Olive Springs Road near Cerice Circle around 3:45 p.m. Monday. As he was in the street, police said a BMW X3 - similar to the one below - going south hit the boy and kept going.
First responders rushed the boy, 8-year-old Essah Johnson, to Scottish Rite Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the vehicle is dark blue or black and will have damage to the driver side headlight area.
