DULUTH, Ga. — A bear was spotted in Duluth on Thursday and police are telling residents to leave it alone.
The bear, last seen near Rogers Bridge Road appears to be young, based off photos from the Duluth Police Department's Facebook page.
The department also gave some tips from bearwise.org to residents. These included: never feed bears; secure food, garbage and recycling; remove bird feeders when bears are active; never leave pet food outdoors; and clean and store grills.
Not far from Duluth, police in northern Fulton County alerted the public last week to a bear spotted in the area of Medlock Bridge Road and Bobby Jones Drive.
