Dunwoody High students going to Chamblee High after water main break near school

The city also posted a picture of the break site and said it would be a "complicated repair."

DUNWOODY, Ga. — UPDATE: According to the city, the repairs are complete and water pressure is being restored. 

They note some people may see brown water initially.

Students at Dunwoody High are going to Chamblee High on Wednesday after a water main break near the school.

The City of Dunwoody posted a picture of the break site on X and noted it would be a "complicated repair."

The break happened at the 4700 block of Vermack Road, which is a little less than a mile from Dunwoody High.

"With no water service at Dunwoody’s High, the current plan is to bus students to Chamblee HS," the city posted on X.

The city said Vermack Ridge, Vermack Court and Berkshire Pass are all impacted, as well as possibly some other nearby streets.
