It’s been an action-packed few months since Georgia’s own 3-time Olympian Elana Meyers Taylor added another medal to her collection in PyeongChang, South Korea.

She received an honorary Doctorate Degree from George Washington University, visited schools to inspire kids, and traveled the world.

Elana was part of the BET and ESPY Awards and she’s now the President-Elect of the Women’s Sports Foundation. Not to mention, she’s done a lot of babysitting as she and her husband, Nic, have moved back to Georgia full-time.

Elana said it meant a lot to her to be able to be involved in the community. On Monday, she visited patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She talked with them as they did art projects.

The kids tried on her Olympic medals and took pictures together. It was a full party made possible by Bridgestone Tires, one of Elana’s partners. The children were all smiles as they got to meet a three-time Olympian.

Elana has done all of it as she recovers from an injury and gets ready for what’s next. Could that be adding a Summer Olympic sport to her Winter Olympic bobsled streak?
