ATLANTA — Grammy-winning producer and So So Def Recordings founder Jermaine Dupri announced a new internship for Emory students during the inaugural Ideas Festival at Oxford College on Sept. 20.

The internship, launching in spring 2025, will allow two undergraduates to work with Dupri and So So Def and earn academic credit. Eligible students from Emory College, Oxford College, Goizueta Business School and the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing can apply this fall.

“I’ve always been a person that gives younger individuals and people who want to be in this business a chance,” says Dupri. “I’m looking for superstars that are not on the stage and I hope that I can find them in this So So Def/Emory intern partnership.”

The Ideas Festival runs through Sept. 22 and features over 40 speakers, including musicians, scientists and creators.
