ATLANTA โ€” For a couple of hours on Friday morning, Clark Atlanta was the center of the sports world.

ESPN brought its popular "First Take" morning show to the Atlanta University Center ahead of the weekend's Clark Atlanta-Morehouse football game, part of the program's "On the Road" series.

For breaking live coverage and news conferences you can download 11Alive+, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

First Take's larger-than-life hosts Stephen A. Smith, Cam Newton, Molly Qerim and Shannon Sharpe were joined by the likes of Atlanta royalty including Big Boi and T.I. (Newton is himself also from Atlanta and Sharpe is from southeast Georgia and a Savannah State alum).

11Alive's Reggie Chatman was on scene, where a raucous crowd was on hand for First Take's broadcast.

The program touched on whether people are sleeping on the Falcons, whether Atlanta is an underrated sports city and counted down Stephen A. Smith's top five Atlanta pro athletes.

His list?  Deion Sanders, Hank Aaron, Dominique Wilkins, Chipper Jones and Michael Vick:

T.I. said he agreed mostly with the list but wanted to shout out former Hawk and metro Atlanta native Josh Smith for what he meant to the community when he was in the NBA.

Newton also urged Big Boi, during his appearance on the show, to get with Andrรฉ 3000 for an Outkast reunion.

The Morehouse Maroon Tigers host the Clark Atlanta Panthers on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Battle of the AUC.
