FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Authorities said a man who escaped a home after a domestic dispute and SWAT standoff on Friday has been spotted again in the area as they continue their search.

A Fayette County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said that they were called to the 700 block of Georgia Highway 314 around 1 p.m. to reports of the dispute.

They said that one person, believed to be Sam Latzzis, was inside and refusing to leave. Authorities said they had no reason to believe hostages were also in the home and, at some point, he managed to escape.

Several hours later, on Saturday, deputies are now searching the area of Lee's Mill Road and Veteran's Parkway after a suspicious person was spotted by a resident.

Anyone who spots Latzzis is cautioned that he might be armed and recommend suspicious incidents or people be reported to 911 immediately.
