SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Authorities are responding after a fire ignited at Camelot Condominiums on Sunday night -- prompting an evacuation.
According to a spokesperson with South Fulton Police, both police and fire units are on the scene of the fire at one of the buildings. Emergency responders are actively managing the situation. Fire officials said the fire started around 8 p.m., and about eight units were affected.
The spokesperson said that everyone has safely evacuated, and no injuries have been reported at this time. The South Fulton Police Department is assisting the fire department in ensuring the safety of residents and the surrounding area. Fire officials said that only about 25% of the building is damaged.
