DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Fire crews have extinguished a large fire that engulfed a condo complex on Wednesday afternoon.
Details are limited, but crews were dispatched to the fire at the Plantation Condominiums on Montreal Road around 2:29 p.m.
DeKalb County Fire Cpt. Jaeson Daniels said that no one was injured, but some firefighters needed treatment for heat exhaustion. According to Daniels, the building was occupied at the time of the fire.
Officials did not say how many people were displaced because of the fire.
The 11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, where the roof of one of the condo buildings appears to be heavily damaged. Fire trucks can be seen surrounding the scene.
