ATLANTA — Two fishermen made a grisly discovery when they stumbled upon a dead body while enjoying their Wednesday afternoon on the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta.
Police said that the two men were fishing at the Cambellton Park Boat Ramp in Fulton County when they found a body inside the water of the river.
Chattahoochee Hills Police and Fire responded to the scene and were assisted by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in recovering the body from the river.
The body was taken to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. It's unclear at this time whether foul play was involved.
