Gov. Kemp is honoring fallen Paulding County deputy Brandon Cunningham on Friday by flying flags at half-staff after he was killed in the line of duty on Aug. 17.
Cunningham will be laid to rest on Friday as funeral arrangements were announced to honor the fallen deputy's life and legacy.
Kemp announced that flags will be flown at half-staff at the Georgia State Capitol and in Paulding County on Friday.
"My family and the entire State of Georgia continue to mourn the loss of Paulding County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Cunningham," Kemp said in a post on social media Thursday.
