THE SOURCES
WHAT WE FOUND
During the week of May 13, which is National Police Week, falls Peace Officers Memorial Day, which is always on May 15.
In a proclamation signed on May 10 by President Joe Biden, he states the day is to "recognize the incredible courage of our Nation’s police officers and honor the fallen heroes, whose ultimate sacrifice we can never repay."
