FOREST PARK, Ga. — The City of Forest Park is investigating "malicious technology network intrusion" on Monday.
City officials said they quickly identified and isolated the intrusion to minimize any more possible damage.
Authorities added that there was no indication that residents' data or any other data and sensitive documents were breached.
It comes just days after a global cyber outage caused by a software update from CrowdStrike disrupted businesses, airlines and communications.
According to a news release, the city is working with law enforcement agencies to investigate the intrusion and do a full forensic scan of all systems.
Officials added there were no impacts to public safety.
