Lovers of this lifetime can wed in supernatural matrimony in a themed celebration.

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Have you found the Gomez to your Morticia? Always dreamed of being a "Corpse Bride?" Wanted a romance only a vampire could provide?

Consider penciling in Halloween as your wedding date.

Those looking to make the spooky date a more romantic holiday can consider marrying their boo in a free ceremony in Fulton County. Lovers of this lifetime can wed in supernatural matrimony in a themed celebration.

The county's probate court is remixing its "Forever Fridays" by hosting a special costume wedding experience next Tuesday, Oct. 31. Ghoulish girls, ghastly guys, and the paranormal-obsessed alike can vow 'til death do us part in a free wedding ceremony from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Sinister and eerie ceremonies will take place at the Downtown Atlanta courthouse along Pryor Street. A marriage license is required; costumes are optional.

The court has already seen a record number of unions during its free wedding ceremonies offered on Fridays since the pandemic, according to Judge Kenya Johnson. After couples came in costume to tie the knot on Friday, Oct. 13, Johnson figured to lean into the spooky holiday with romantic flair, allowing couples an additional day to exchange rings.

Like in death, no appointment is needed. Happy and stoic couples are welcome to share vows with or without costume. Those exchanging vows are allowed to invite up to six guests to witness the wedding. However, witnesses must have a heartbeat.
